Cùng với series Red Alert, thì Command & Conquer là một trong những series game chiến thuật theo thời gian thật nổi tiếng với rất nhiều phiên bản từng được ra mắt trong suốt vài thập kỷ qua. Tuy nhiên mới đây tại EA Play, sự kiện riêng của nhà phát triển EA trước thời điểm diễn ra E3 năm nay, thì hãng đã công bố tựa game Command & Conquer: Rivals dành cho smartphone. Đây là phiên bản Command & Conquer lấy cảm hứng từ Clash Royale nổi tiếng gần đây, nhưng cho phép bạn điều khiển quân sau khi triển khai. Nhiệm vụ của người chơi là tiêu diệt căn cứ của đối thủ bằng hàng loạt quân khác nhau lẫn tên lửa. Và theo nhà phát triển thì nếu “ăn” hai quả tên lửa thì là game over cho nạn nhân.

Cũng giống như các phiên bản Windows và console thì Tiberium sẽ đóng vai trò vừa là tiền tệ nhưng cũng vừa là tài nguyên trong trò chơi. Không có nó thì bạn không thể làm được gì. Trong quá trình trải nghiệm, người chơi có thể xây dựng các quân đi đào và thu hoạch thêm nhiều tài nguyên, tương tự như các phần chơi Command & Conquer khác. Game cũng sẽ có rất nhiều bản đồ màn chơi khác nhau và các chế độ chơi riêng.

Cuối cùng, Command & Conquer: Rivals sẽ là một tựa game free-to-play dành cho hai nền tảng di động Android và iOS. Trò chơi dự kiến ra mắt trong năm nay và bạn có thể đăng ký tham gia thử nghiệm pre-alpha tại đây.

Game Pokémon

Có rất nhiều tin tức về Pokémon trong thời gian gần đây. Đầu tiên là tựa game free-to-play Pokémon Quest đánh dấu lần đầu tiên series này xuất hiện trên Switch. Nhưng đáng chú ý hơn là Pokémon: Let’s Go, một phiên bản ăn theo Pokémon Go dự kiến ra mắt trên nền tảng này vào tháng 11 năm nay. Thậm chí có thông tin là một tay cầm pokéball đang được phát triển. Tuy nhiên, đáng chú ý nhất là lẽ là tựa game Pokémon game mà Nintendo từng hé lộ hồi E3 năm ngoái. Metroid Prime 4

Rất có thể ngay E3 năm nay sẽ có thêm nhiều thông tin chi tiết hơn về tựa game này và thời điểm phát hành có lẽ là năm 2019. Đáng chú ý là Retro Studios không còn chịu trách nhiệm phát triển phiên bản mới này nữa, nên không rõ là phiên bản này sẽ tạo nhiều khác biệt với bộ ba phần chơi cũ như thế nào. Game đua xe Star Fox?

Có rất nhiều tin đồn cho rằng Retro Studios đang phát triển phần tiếp theo của series game Star Fox. tuy nhiên đây không phải là game bắn súng không gian quen thuộc mà đó sẽ là một tựa game đua xe. Thậm chí có nguồn tin cho rằng nó có tựa là Star Fox Grand Fix và đang được phát triển cho Switch. Hiện vẫn chưa biết được độ chính xác của những nguồn tin này, nên cũng có khả năng là chúng ta sẽ có một tựa game F-Zero mới.

Starfield

Nhiều năm nay đã có tin đồn và nguồn tin cho rằng Bethesda đang phát triển một tựa game nhập vai thế giới mở lấy chủ đề không gian với tựa là Starfield. E3 năm nay có thể sẽ là thời điểm hãng chính thức giới thiệu dự án này và để dễ hình dung thì bạn cứ tưởng tượng đó là một game Skyrim mới nhưng với nội dung khoa học viễn tưởng. Hồi tháng rồi, Bethesda đã gây bất ngờ khi công bố cả Rage 2 và Fallout 76 trước thềm E3 năm nay, nhưng động thái này có vẻ như họ đang dọn chỗ để công bố một tựa game gì đó đồ sộ hơn và đó rất có thể là Starfield.

Kingdom Hearts III

Sau một thời gian dài úp mở và “khoe hàng trá hình” thì có khả năng là E3 năm nay sẽ là thời điểm mà Square Enix công bố ngày phát hành chính thức của Kingdom Hearts III. Beyond Good & Evil 2

Năm ngoái, Ubisoft từng khiến mọi người sửng sốt với trailer mới của tựa game Beyond Good & Evil 2 rất được mong đợi. TRước đó, EA vừa có động thái lùi lịch phát hành của tựa game nhập vai mới Anthem của BioWare sang năm tới, nhằm mở đường cho tựa game Battlefield mới phát hành trong năm 2018 này. Hiện tại hãng vẫn chưa có tiết lộ chính thức về tựa game mới này và bối cảnh của trò chơi do vậy EA Play là cơ hội duy nhất để người chơi biết về nó cũng như những tựa game khác của EA dự kiến phát hành.

Riêng với trường hợp của Anthem, vẫn chưa rõ trò chơi có được chơi thử tại EA Play hay không nhưng EA cho biết sẽ có vài bất ngờ tại sự kiện thường niên này của họ.
