Xbox Live Gold là sản phẩm dịch vụ thu phí của Microsoft dành cho người chơi Xbox One và Xbox 360 của hãng theo kiểu thuê bao. Dịch vụ này sẽ cung cấp hạ tầng mạng chơi multiplayer hoặc co-op online cho người dùng Xbox 360 hoặc Xbox One. Bên cạnh đó, người dùng dịch vụ còn được nhận miễn phí hai game Xbox One và hai game Xbox 360 mỗi tháng. Cả hai game Xbox 360 này đều tương thích ngược, có thể trải nghiệm trực tiếp trên Xbox One. Ngoài ra, dịch vụ này còn có thêm một số ưu đãi khác cho người chơi Xbox One và Xbox 360.

Đặc biệt, nếu các thành viên trong gia đình dùng chung máy Xbox One thì chỉ phải trả tiền cho một gói dịch vụ Xbox Live Gold là tất cả thành viên có thể hưởng ưu đãi từ nó. Yêu cầu là mọi người phải sử dụng chung một máy console và từng thành viên có thể sử dụng tài khoản riêng trên máy console duy nhất đó, không cần sử dụng chung tài khoản Xbox Live Gold. Người dùng Xbox 360 thì ngược lại, bắt buộc phải sử dụng gói dịch vụ riêng cho từng tài khoản chứ không thể chia sẻ dùng chung như người dùng Xbox One.

Khoảng nửa tháng, bạn có thể truy cập địa chỉ này để xem các tựa game miễn phí mới nếu có tham gia Xbox Live Gold. Qua quá trình sử dụng, mình có gặp vấn đề khi nhận các game miễn phí của hệ Xbox 360. Cụ thể mình đăng ký tài khoản Xbox với Region là Mỹ. Sau khi đăng ký Xbox Live Gold (mình mua Redeem Code 12 tháng), mình lấy game Xbox One khá đơn giản, tuy nhiên khi lấy game Xbox 360, thì ở bước cuối cùng mình luôn nhận thông báo Sorry Your purchase cannot be completed at this time.

Qua tìm hiểu thì lý do là mình đăng ký tài khoản Xbox Live với hệ US, tuy nhiên khi truy cập thì lại đang ở Việt Nam. Mình đã thử nhiều cách như nhập một thẻ tín dụng của mình ở Việt Nam nhưng vẫn nhận thông báo lỗi này. Cuối cùng thì có một thành viên trên reddit chia sẻ là chỉ cần đổi IP sang USA là được. Mình đã dùng một VPN để fake IP qua USA và kết quả là có thể lấy game Xbox 360 bình thường. Nếu bạn gặp vấn đề tương tự như mình thì cách khắc phục chỉ đơn giản như trên nhé.

Còn tới một tuần nữa mới kết thúc tháng hai, nhưng Microsoft đã sớm công bố danh tánh của các game mà người dùng Xbox Live Gold sẽ nhận được trong tháng ba sắp tới. Cũng như mọi lần, trong tháng tới sẽ có hai game Xbox One và hai game Xbox 360 có thể chơi được cả trên máy Xbox One nhờ vào khả năng tương thích ngược trên hệ máy này.

Với Xbox One, người dùng Xbox Live Gold sẽ nhận “miễn phí” Trials of the Blood Dragon trị giá 15USD trong suốt tháng ba, và SUPERHOT trị giá 25USD trong khoảng thời gian từ 16/3 đến 15/4/2018.

Nếu bạn nào thích series game chạy xe biểu diễn Trials, hẳn không thể không biết tới Trials of the Blood Dragon. Đáng tiếc đây chỉ là tựa game ăn theo series này, với lối chơi mô phỏng theo mô thể thao lái xe vượt địa hình ngoài đời thật. Trong trò chơi, người chơi cũng sẽ lái một chiếc mô tô vượt qua những chướng ngại vật với mọi thứ đều ảnh hưởng lớn bởi các yếu tố vật lý. Tựa game này không được người chơi lẫn giới chuyên môn đánh giá cao nếu không muốn nói là nhận “gạch đá” không ít, nên chỉ ở mức giải trí giết thời gian là cùng.

Đây là game indie đáng chơi, thuộc thể loại bắn súng góc nhìn thứ nhất với phong cách đồ họa tối giản hết sức độc đáo. Thời gian trong SUPERHOT chỉ diễn ra khi người chơi di chuyển, do vậy bạn có thể nhận thức rất rõ mọi tình huống có thể diễn ra và suy tính cách “hóa giải” tương ứng. Đồ họa tối giản độc đáo tạo ấn tượng khá mạnh về thị giác. Tuy nhiên, nhân vật của người chơi chỉ có số lượng đạn rất hạn chế, đòi hỏi bạn phải phụ thuộc vào việt tiêu diệt kẻ thù để kiếm thêm đạn hay thậm chí là lao vào tấn công cận chiến với kẻ thù. Thế nhưng, nếu để trúng đạn của kẻ thù dù chỉ một viên thì…

Một tựa game phiêu lưu hành động đi cảnh 3D giải đố được chuyển thể từ phim hoạt hình Brave của Pixar và Disney. Nội dung kể về cuộc phiêu lưu của công chúa Mérida trên đường tìm kiếm cách giải lời nguyền mà cô đã vô tình gây ra cho người mẹ của mình trong lúc nóng giận. Brave: The Video Game là một game chuyển thể thuộc loại khá nếu so với nhiều tựa game chuyển thể khác trên thị trường vốn hay nhận được “gạch đá” hơn là những lời khen. Đây vẫn tiếp tục là một game đi cảnh giải đố khác, nhưng đáng chú ý hơn Brave: The Video Game ở trên nhiều. Trò chơi được trải nghiệm ở góc nhìn thứ nhất, với nhân vật chính là đứa cháu trai của giáo sư Fitz Quadwrangle. Trong một cuộc thí nghiệm, nhân vật chính bị mắc kẹt trong một chiều không gian và quên hết mọi chuyện trước đó. Bạn sẽ phaa3i giúp nhân vật chính tìm cách thoát khỏi chiều không gian đó. Dù sao đây vẫn là một tựa game hay và đáng chơi.
